Tempura Japanese Grill (MOA)

I love Japanese Foods. Whenever I'm craving for it, automatically, it's Tokyo tokyo for me. Good thing, my Father introduced Tempura Japanese Grill to us during my Mom's birthday.

I love everything that we ate there especially the Uncle Sam's. It is rolled maki with shrimp, cream cheese, cucumber strips and mango topped with bacon and mayo. Its perfect! I also like the Karufuru Salad-- Assortment of freshly prepared mandarin segments, apple slices and whole grapes with mixed greens in fruity vinaigrette. What's also nice about them is that they serve house tea which isn't like the free tea in other restaurants. It wasn't just "essence of tea" but actually really good tasting green tea. Hmm.. I forgot the rest that Dad ordered for us.

I want our 6th anniversary to be special so I choose to eat at Tempura, so that my Boyfriend will try their delicious foods too. He's not a Japanese-food-lover, but I still want him to give it a try. If he'll like it then good but if he don't then at least we have tried their foods.

I forgot this one. Its P199-P200 I think. Everything's delicious!

I had a maki hangover after enjoying the Uncle Sam's Maki so I ordered for Caterpillar Roll.
Its rolled maki with unagi, cream cheese and mango strips.
They never disappoint me.

Boyfriend was so in the mood for a hot makimono so he opted to get their Tempura’s Firecracker Crisp.
According to the description, its a fried maki balls, filled with spicy tuna, coated with special batter, swirled with teriyaki sauce and mayo.
He said he wants to try it because he saw that there's a spicy tuna.
Also, the picture at the menu was really appetizing.

Tempura’s Firecracker Crisp
I was expecting a mouthwatering dish to stand by its description.
Well, its sweet and you can really feel the mixture of  rice ball, teriyaki sauce, mayo, and spices on it.
And again, he's more than satisfied after trying this. So am I!

I forgot the rest that we ordered. At the upper right, there's the Gyu Asupara Maki.
Its an Asparagus rolled in thinly sliced beef tenderloin grilled with special sauce.
I love the sweetness of the sauce and the asparagus itself.

The place is very casual and the prices are just right. The branch we visited was at Mall of Asia. The service was good and the waiters were nice as always. I love everything about Tempura Japanese Grill. Its definitely worth it.

Max's Restaurant

Max’s Restaurant is one my favorite restaurant that offers variety of sumptuous, and healthy food. I can't say that its affordable by all, but hey, its worth it.

Walking in to the restaurant, waiters gave us a warm greeting and led us to our table. I can say that the place was always clean and not crowded (but not during special occasions), which I really prefer. Like I've said, there's plenty of food to choose from but me and my boyfriend settled for our favorite Chicken sisig, and this vegetable thingy with the dip. Ofcourse, we do include Max's specialty-- Chicken. Three to four rice is okay with us since their rice isn't that affordable. It costs P30-P40 I think.

We wait for the food to be served, like 10-15 minutes. The food was really delicious. I love the sisig, and I'm very much happy to eat it. We had a great time, with the great food and nice service, who wouldn't be?

Tocino for breakfast

My Mom prepared this lovely breakfast for us. :)

Java Rice, Sweet Tocino, Sliced tomatoes, and egg. :D

Jugno's Monster Pizza

This is the very first time I saw a huge pizza. My Boyfriend, together with his family ordered two boxes of pizza from Jugno's Monster Pizza. It was enough to feed more than fifteen (15) people. So I ordered one for my family.

Jugno Pizza-- Its affordable pizza for the family. I usually ordered the party cut (4 flavored) and cut into squares. I love the free hot sauce, especially the cream sauce.

My favorite flavor is Hawaiian. I love the ham and the cheese on it. I super love the cream dip, its perfect together. The crust is okay, the price is affordable, and I can say that this Jugno's Monster Pizza is one of the best pizza place in town.

Marina's Oysters Seafood Grill

For the third time.

I'm so excited to leave the office and see my Boyfriend. We seldom date this past few weeks, and I'm busy with work while he's busy with his review. He came first and patiently wait for me while I'm half an hour late.
After going through the long walks and window shopping, we felt tired and hungry. We're actually planning to eat first then we shall watch No Other Woman. Without no discussions, we knew where to eat -- Marina's Oysters Seafood Grill. Why Marina's? First, we have this discount coupon I got from my Boyfriend's sister-in-law. Second, I'm craving for seafood. Third, I wanna try the Baked Scallops I missed the last time we ate there. Well, it’s undeniable that me and my boyfriend loves to eat.

Surrounded by good ambiance, we ordered Lato Salad, Platter, Baked Scallops, Pork Sisig, and the free La Paz Batchoy Soup.

Baked Scallops for P250 or P299 (I forgot the price)

The Baked Scallops,  it did taste terrific — the combination of well-melted cheese and scallops was amazing. I love how it blend with the melted cheese and the garlic on top of it. I also love that its big. I was really into eating it. All of it were easily devoured by me. I only gave my Boyfriend a piece of it, and he focused on his Pork Sisig and platter.

The Platter (around P300+)

The Lato Salad for P140

Honestly, I ordered this because I saw mango slices on top of it, and I'm sort of curious about the green thingy which looks like teeny weeny grapes. According to the menu, its one of the best to order so we did. I'm sad after tasting a piece of it. Its salty with disgusting smell. I don't like it. Sorry.

Pork Sisig

The pork sisig was dry and was not at all delightful.. not even alive to look at. It tasted good according to my Boyfriend. Liver is the primary ingredient here. I believe they don't really serve the sisig with calamansi and mayonnaise. My Boyfriend doesn't bother to ask for a calamansi because we're really hungry to get the attention of the busy server(s).

The Baked Scallops was the best we ordered. It tasted good for me and my boyfriend. All in all, it tasted good. I would order this again. As for my boyfriend, the Platter was the best he ordered.

Enjoy delicious seafood with waterside views. Try Marina's Oysters Seafood Grill.
